handheld water bottle update [riveting. are you not entertained?]
thanks for your ideas a few weeks ago. for those who wanted me to report back:
i narrowed it down to the nathan or lululemon bottles, since those were the most suggested. the smaller nathans were only 7 or 10 oz, and the larger one was a whopping 22 oz, which i wasn’t too interested in toting around. i really liked the look and size of the lululemon bottle, but i read in the reviews that the hand strap is not adjustable and was too big for smaller hands. mine are pretty tiny, so that was out.
i ended up going with the amphipod hydraform thermal-lite for its size [12 oz], the key/snack pouch, adjustable hand strap, and thermal covering so it doesn’t slide around in sweaty hands. i didn’t need it this morning [cool weather and only five miles] but i tried it out anyway — loved it! i barely realized i was carrying anything, it was easy to drink out of, and didn’t leak. the pouch isn’t too bulky but easily fit my house keys with room for a snack if i want one once the runs get longer. i definitely recommend it [and i linked to running warehouse — $20 and free two-day shipping].
this has been a post.
